McPherson's Printing is seeking a General Despatch worker for our busy factory located in Maryborough (Regional Victoria). McPerson's Printing is one of the largest book manufactures in Australia and is looking for a reliable individual to join our team.

Your initial responsiblities will include but not limited to:

*Daily despatch duties & functions

*Loading and unloading trucks

*General housekeeping

*To ensure all internal/external freight movement (including work in progress) is achived in the most efficient & cost effective manner.

*Assist with the focus of an effective system of waste movement (internal& external). To control departmental waste & bailer room function to meet prodution requirements & to maintain a clean & safe working environment.

* Completion of daily forklift safety checklist.

The Successful Candidate must:

* Have a current VIC drivers License

* Have a surrent Forklift License

*Be reliable, punctual and hardworking

*Have a strong understanding of safe work practices

*Have good communication and organisational skils

*Be highly attentive to detail

*Be able to work autonomously or part of a team

*Be able to demonstrate the ability to identify to resolve problems quickly.

The position is a full time position with rotating shifts Monday-Friday (Day Shift) & Monday - Thursday (Afternoon Shift) with overtime opportunities.
