ASSISTANT PROJECT COORDINATOR

McPherson’s are a well-established business of over 70 years and is one of the largest book printers in Australia. We employ in excess of 170 people & we provide an end to end service in regards to book manufacturing. We manufacture for publishers such as Scholastic, Allen & Unwin, Victoria Racing Club, Hachette and Harper Collins.

THE ROLE

McPherson’s Printing is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of special projects within the business.

The role will offer support to the Operations Director in regards to the compilation and delivery of project administration, taking into consideration timeframes, expected high standards and business efficiencies.

 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation
  • Maintain accurate and complete records
  • Generate high quality project reports
  • Provide support for supply chain by managing documentation
  • Fulfil communication requirements as directed
  • Investigate and obtain information as directed in relation to requests for project information
  • Handle tasks as requested to ensure a smooth project transition into operations

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDES:

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel Pivot Table
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Motivated to achieve targets
  • Experience in project administration desirable
